Privacy Policy — WhatsApp Privacy: Blur & Lock Last updated: [date] 1. Summary This extension operates entirely on your device. We (the developer) do not collect, receive, store, sell, or share any of your data. There is no developer server. 2. Data the extension handles locally - Settings (blur preferences, language, theme, templates, schedules, auto-reply rules) are stored in your browser via chrome.storage and never leave your device. - Lock password: only a salted SHA-256 hash is stored locally. The plaintext password is never stored or transmitted. - Chat content: to provide blurring, auto-replies and export, the extension reads content of your open WhatsApp Web tab locally. This content is never sent to the developer. 3. User-directed transfers If you configure the optional webhook feature, message event data is sent directly from your browser to URLs you choose. You control these endpoints entirely. 4. Exported files Contact/chat exports are generated locally and saved to your device only. 5. Payments (future) If paid features are introduced, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment processor; we will not receive or store your payment card details. This policy will be updated before any such change. 6. Data selling We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, and never will. 7. Contact [your email]
